Description

We are seeking a support worker to join our team and the post would suit someone who has experience working with young adults with additional needs and physical disabilities. The client is a young man who has Cerebral Palsy and Autism and he enjoys going out into the community to do activities and visiting places of interest in the local area. We are looking for someone who has confidence to work autonomously with the client both in the community and at home and who has a positive outlook to support and encourage life skills, social interaction and activities of daily living.

The salary for this role is £15.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements for the post

• Car driver essential
• The post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check and reference checks
• Experience working in care
• The successful candidate will receive mandatory training and receive supervision/mentoring from a line manager
