Priest-in-Charge of the benefice of Bakewell, Ashford in the Water with Sheldon and Rowsley and Priest-in-Charge of the parish of Longstone

Key Responsibilities

  • Extend existing work with schools, children, young people and families.
  • Explore a new model of sustainable governance.
  • Expand community engagement and pastoral care networks.
  • Maintain the churches worshipping identities while forming new worshipping communities.
  • Help reach out, share faith and deepen discipleship.
  • Engage with the tourism industry supporting visitors in becoming pilgrims.
  • Reach out to the newly retired moving into the area.
  • Pioneer opportunities connected to rural life, agriculture and care of creation.
