Extra Care Team Leader – Darwen

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an Extra Care Team Leader for the Riverside Heights Scheme in Darwen. This is a permanent position at 30 hours per week. Rate of pay to be discussed at interview. Reference: Extra Care Team Leader/Riverside Heights Darwen.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of Extra Care workers at Riverside Heights.
  • Being the first point of contact for concerns or issues during shifts.
  • Resolving issues and escalating when required.
  • Emergency On-call duties on a rolling rota basis.
  • Conducting appraisals, supervisions, back-to-work interviews and medication competencies ensuring adherence to [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] policies.
  • Working on shift occasionally to deliver high-quality care.

Key Skills & Attributes Required

  • Enjoy helping people and making a positive difference.
  • Caring nature, good personal values.
  • Team Leader/Supervisor experience (preferable).
  • Minimum 2 years in Health & Social Care with QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
  • IT skills essential (Microsoft 365 preferable).
  • Knowledge of Access (preferable).
  • Positive and can-do attitude, committed, tactful, patient, creative, proactive.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Full driving licence and suitable transport.
