Network Infrastructure Expert

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is hiring a Network Infrastructure Expert to prepare HLD/LLD, configure and deploy routers, switches, and WAN devices, and implement LAN/WAN/Data Center network solutions. Requires 8-15 years of networking experience with expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, and automation using Python/Ansible. Certifications like CCNP or CCIE preferred. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare HLD/LLD and Execute implementation of approved HLD/LLD.
  • Configure and deploy routers, switches, and WAN devices.
  • Perform greenfield and brownfield deployments.
  • Implement LAN, WAN, and Data Center network solutions.
  • Conduct pre-implementation planning and risk assessment.
  • Deploy MPLS and Internet WAN connectivity.
  • Plan and execute network migration activities.
  • Perform DC migration / WAN link migration.
  • Execute change windows with minimal downtime.
  • Provide onsite/remote support during cutovers.
  • Prepare rollback plans and ensure successful execution.
  • Conduct FAT / UAT testing.
  • Perform redundancy and failover testing.
  • Ensure compliance with security baselines and standards.
  • Update LLD and as-built documentation.
  • Prepare implementation reports and MOP (Method of Procedure).
  • Conduct KT sessions for Operations (L2/L3 Support teams).
  • Work with multiple OEMs.
  • Support project managers in implementation planning.
