Sr. Presales Engineer Data & Mobile Solutions - Orange Wholesale

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Senior Presales Engineer to support the Africa Sales team. This hybrid role requires a minimum of 5 years in a Pre-Sales customer facing organization in the Data and Mobile industry. Fluency in English and French is required.

About the Role

  • Support Sales in finding solutions to their customer’s business needs
  • Ensure timely response to requests for Feasibility Studies
  • Lead response to RFPs: Opportunity Gates - successfully pass solution review
  • Responsible for overall technical solution design including architecture; costing;
  • Help maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities with a high win probability and ensure CRM information consistency.
  • Improve deal qualification by providing a solution perspective: assessing customer fit with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] capabilities, assessment of true business opportunity, understanding key win themes
  • Use knowledge of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] solutions and innovations to shape solution strategy
  • Ability to interface with customers as required
  • Support Legal in contract negotiations
  • Assess technical skills and required personnel needed to complete bid response
  • Engage and direct technical subject matter experts team
  • Assess with Marketing the need for third party integration

  • Ensure all IT tools and documentation are completed within established timeframes

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in Pre-Sales customer facing organization in Data and Mobile industry (transmission, IP, signaling, Roaming 3G/4G/5G, Mobile Core Network Cloudification, security solutions) that addresses Wholesale telecom customers (MNOs, OTTs…).
  • Legal experience desirable.
  • Preferred technical telecoms background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French.
  • Business financial skills, e.g. understand business case concept
  • Ability to develop credibility to position [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] to collaborate on clients’ business cases
  • Up to date on current Mobile trends, Business Market understanding
  • Excellent presentation and negotiating skills
  • Understanding of Market pricing
  • Technical and business innovation skills
