Product Modelling Governance

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is hiring a Product Modelling Governance Lead to ensure B2B products are defined and modelled according to established guidelines and guardrails. This role involves collaboration with product marketing, IT, and customer journey teams.

About the Role

The Product Office is responsible for setting up, maintaining, implementing, standardising and upholding product modelling guidelines and guardrails for all B2B products and services within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s enterprise product catalogue and related systems. This role ensures that all products are defined and modelled correctly and as per established guidelines and guardrails.

The 'Product Modelling Governance Lead' works with multiple stakeholders across product marketing to ensure new products and significant product changes are defined and modelled in accordance with the agreed guardrails. This maximises product quality, consistency, and modularity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a lynchpin between product & marketing, customer journey and IT and help define product & financial hierarchies, attributes, rules, dependencies and pricing logic.
  • Drive requirement clarification and alignment sessions across entities such as digital journey, managed services, order management and service assurance.
  • Provide a walkthrough of the process and product definition and product modelling collateral and templates to the product teams.
  • Work closely with product managers, pricing managers, business & technical modellers, customer journey specialists and other relevant members to ensure alignment between product model and commercial offerings, business requirements & technical capability.
  • Support contributing epic owner and relevant roles to finalise MVP and MMP scope and related feature elaboration & completion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, information technology, engineering, business or related field.
  • Experienced in TM Forum framework, particularly SID.
  • Hands-on knowledge and familiarity with SAFe and/or Agile delivery environments.
  • Awareness of sales order process such as lead to cash.

  • Exceptional co-ordination skills to bring relevant parties to the table.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management process and governance.

  • Tools: Office 365, Visio, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, catalogue/CPQ platforms.
