About the role
- Responsible for the successful completion of project team deliverables on time, within budget, and according to specifications
- Develop & finalize the transition/transformation plan with the internal & customer teams
- Identify and secure resources necessary to execute the Transition Plan.
- Manage transition planning, knowledge transfer, technology deployment, service readiness, people transfer, delivery operations setup, service management aspects of project
- Communicate progress / status of transition to all stakeholders
- Assist Central PM in developing contingency and risk mitigation plans for transition
- Communicate effectively with the internal business stakeholders what all changes in processes will be
- Deploys and refines a standardized transition methodology to be used consistently across initiatives
- Provide documentation/support requested by PM in support of project reviews, audits and other project requirements.
- Track status of work plans; resources; and deliverables for individual projects and roll up project information for overall program coordination; reporting; and communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 6-8 years relevant PM & Transition management work experience.
- Minimum of 8-10 years IT management experience.
- Ideal candidates should be Prince 2 certified. ITIL certified is added advantage
- High Level understanding of technologies such as service desk, end user computing (workplace services), data center services, network and security services, Cloud Services, messaging and collaboration (IPT & Contact Center).
- Assisting the Central PM with project planning, execution, monitoring, tracking and reporting documentation
- Transition/Transformation management experience required from previous role
- Hands on experience on project Management tools – MPP & well versed with Excel & PowerPoint
