Where you'll be working: Blenheim Care Home, Bournemouth (CQC Rating: View)

What is required from you?

A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
A background within kitchens and understanding of how to run a professional kitchen
Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or supporting complex dietary requirements is desirable
Opportunities Available: Cook at 16 hours per week (8am-4pm, flexibility for alternative weekends) or Bank Cook to cover a mix of shifts

A day in the life of a Cook

Menu planning: Collaborating with the home manager and residents, you will develop and implement menu ideas, including themed days and events.
Understanding dietary needs: Work closely with staff to meet residents' nutritional and dietary needs, including modified food textures and allergies.
Kitchen Management: Main point of contact for the kitchen, responsible for stock management and hygiene standards.
