FULL DESCRIPTION
Plant Engineer
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Plant Engineer to support the Site Manager with safe operation, Planned Preventative Maintenance, and cost-effective overhauls. Location: Westwood AD Plant, Bedford Road, Rushden NN10 0SQ. Full-time, permanent, 40 hours per week. Salary up to £40,000 per annum plus allowance, overtime, and bonus.
Requirements
- Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering, with experience in a related process industry.
- Experience in engineering, PLC controls, or electronics advantageous.
- Qualifications or experience in materials handling, confined spaces, working at heights, and first aid.
- Training provided for WAMITAB and NEBOSH if not already held.
- Ability to follow procedure, cost control, adapt to change, self-motivated, team player, and work independently.
- Experience with environmental, safety, and quality management systems desirable.
- Full UK driving licence required; ability to operate a telehandler.
- Shift pattern including weekends on rota, call out, and remote monitoring.
