Manufacturing Team Leader

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Solutions (part of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]) is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader to oversee efficient manufacturing of fluid technology products in a clean room environment. This is an on-site role based at BioPure UK - Dunsbury Park, Havant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee efficient manufacturing of company products, maintaining high performing assembly line consistent with standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain documentation per BS EN ISO 14644, BS EN ISO 9001, and cGMP standards.
  • Address faults or defects within manufactured product and equipment, escalating through relevant channels.
  • Organise, prioritise, and distribute daily workload within your team of Manufacturing Operatives.
  • Undertake line set-up, operational supervision, and line clearance activities.
  • Maintain documentation for ISO 14644, ISO 9001, cGMP, and ISO 14001 Environmental Standards.
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning operations within cleanroom environment are carried out per procedures.
  • Liaise with other Manufacturing Team Leaders and Operators to ensure efficient product flow.
  • Input and maintain data within production support software.
  • Manage sickness absence and annual leave requests across your team.
  • Lead daily Level 1 Self-Directed Team board for Manufacturing.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience manufacturing/assembling plastic injection moulded products.
  • Experience leading a team to deliver outcomes aligned to a manufacturing plan, ideally within medical/pharmaceutical environment.
  • Awareness of BS EN ISO 14644, BS EN ISO 9001, and cGMP standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to identify problems and implement timely solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective time management with ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to lead an assembly team and build strong working relationships.
  • Competent IT user (Microsoft Office, production support software).
