Sales Engineer - Bioprocess

As a Sales Engineer, you will drive sustainable business growth in upstream bioprocessing fluid management solutions across EMEA. This is a remote role requiring 60-70% travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Establish and maintain a sustainable pipeline of opportunities in upstream bioprocessing.
  • Business Development: Identify and engage potential customers through research, networking, and industry events.
  • Consultative selling: Guide customers through their buying journey with a consultative approach.
  • Customer Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships and providing technical expertise.
  • Managing Sales Leads: Own sales leads and inquiries, providing tailored quotations.
  • Allocating Workload Strategically: Allocate workload across EMEA support functions.
  • Demonstrating Products: Proactively visit customers and attend exhibitions for product demonstrations.
  • Researching Trends: Research competitor, market, and industry trends.
  • Utilising CRM Tools: Use CRM tools to track and manage leads.
  • Driving Total Customer Solutions: Adopt consultative sales skills as a true partner.
  • Championing Core Values: Foster culture of safety, collaboration, customer focus, excellence, and respect.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of fluid handling applications across upstream bioprocessing.
  • BSc or Diploma in aligned subject or equivalent technical experience.
  • Technical sales experience selling process capital equipment into life sciences customers.
  • Strong commercial acumen across key account management and business development in B2B.
  • Entrepreneurial skills: problem solving, budgeting, networking, collaboration.
  • Ability to travel 60-70% across the designated patch.
