Private Client and Tax Division
The world’s only global law firm dedicated to the personal and private capital needs of high-net-worth individuals and families. Our team is the largest of its kind, generating ~55% of the firm’s revenues, with over 300 people advising on domestic and international tax, estate planning, succession, and philanthropy.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced, competent self-starter to assist Trust Managers in delivering premium service to clients, including trustees. You will handle organisation, administration, and client work to ensure timely and efficient service delivery across a range of private client legal matters.
Key Elements
- Legal research
- Attending client meetings – taking notes, coordinating actions
- Organising meetings, managing e-mail and diary
- Preparing Terms of Engagement and Know Your Client documentation
- Supporting Trust Managers with annual accounts, tax returns
- Supporting the Chief Executive of the trust corporation
- Document management, review and analysis
- Maintaining trust records and meeting deadlines
- Preparing draft wills, LPAs, trust deeds, nominee agreements
- Assisting with Trusts Register, Inheritance Tax Accounts, Gift Aid
- Producing accurate high-quality work using firm’s software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Elite 3E)
- Liaising with investment managers and drafting trustee investment policy statements
- Effective proactive communication with clients and staff
- Resolving accounting queries and producing monthly bills

Essentials
