Private Client and Tax Division

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, competent self-starter to assist Trust Managers in delivering premium service to clients, including trustees. You will handle organisation, administration, and client work to ensure timely and efficient service delivery across a range of private client legal matters.

Key Elements

  • Legal research
  • Attending client meetings – taking notes, coordinating actions
  • Organising meetings, managing e-mail and diary
  • Preparing Terms of Engagement and Know Your Client documentation
  • Supporting Trust Managers with annual accounts, tax returns
  • Supporting the Chief Executive of the trust corporation
  • Document management, review and analysis
  • Maintaining trust records and meeting deadlines
  • Preparing draft wills, LPAs, trust deeds, nominee agreements
  • Assisting with Trusts Register, Inheritance Tax Accounts, Gift Aid
  • Producing accurate high-quality work using firm’s software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Elite 3E)
  • Liaising with investment managers and drafting trustee investment policy statements
  • Effective proactive communication with clients and staff
  • Resolving accounting queries and producing monthly bills
