Inventory Controller

Location: Bristol / Severn Beach | Salary: £17.95/hr (£671.81/week) | Type: Full Time, Ongoing

Are you an experienced Inventory Controller with a strong engineering background? Our client near Bristol is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional to take full ownership of managing stores inventory control to support smooth facility operations and maintenance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage and control stores inventory including spares and engineering consumables
  • Ensure availability of parts for uninterrupted facility operation and maintenance
  • Oversee stock control financial management and use CMMS systems
  • Conduct regular stock audits and manage reorder levels
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Managers and Technical teams
  • Manage purchase requisitions and maintain documentation
  • Monitor inventory usage and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards

What We're Looking For

  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship (City & Guilds Level 3)
  • Minimum 3 years maintenance engineering experience
  • Experience in inventory control and budget management
  • Proficient in CMMS software
  • Health & Safety and Manual Handling trained
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Able to work collaboratively across teams
