Class Teacher

About You
You will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (or be working towards it)
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Have the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
- Be aligned with our values of respect, inclusion and high expectations
Personal Qualities:
The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining outstanding pastoral strengths while further strengthening the quality of education and outcomes for all pupils.
Qualifications and Training
Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS (ECTs)
- Degree or equivalent qualification
- Secure understanding of the Teachers' Standards
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Desirable:
- Additional qualifications (e.g. SEND, curriculum development, subject leadership)
- Evidence of professional development linked to improving teaching and learning
Experience:
- Experience of teaching in a primary setting (including ECT placements)
- Experience of planning and delivering well-structured lessons
- Experience of assessing pupils' progress and adapting teaching to meet needs
- Experience of creating a positive and purposeful classroom climate
