Machinery Demonstrator
Based in Marton, Cheshire with UK and occasional overseas travel

We supply innovative equipment to professional grounds teams across football, golf, cricket, and municipal facilities. As part of our commitment to excellent customer support, we provide comprehensive product demonstrations and operator training.
Role Purpose
As a Machinery Demonstrator, you will showcase the performance and benefits of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s product range to potential and existing customers. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and explaining machinery in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
- Deliver on-site machinery demonstrations at customer locations throughout the UK and occasionally overseas
- Confidently operate a wide range of turf care equipment, including aerators, scarifiers, seeders, and utility vehicles
- Provide in-depth product knowledge, highlighting features, benefits, and correct use of each machine
- Train customer staff on safe operation, maintenance procedures, and best practice
- Prepare demonstration units, including servicing, cleaning, and loading/unloading machinery
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, open days, and dealer events to represent the company and support sales activities
- Complete demonstration reports and gather customer feedback to support the sales process
- Liaise closely with the sales team, service department, and logistics staff to plan and coordinate demonstration schedules
- Assist with machine handovers and operator inductions following sales
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety requirements
About You:
Experience operating professional turf care, agricultural, or grounds maintenance machinery (essential). Confident communicator with ability to engage and build rapport with customers. Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently. Full UK driving licence (essential); trailer towing licence (B+E) preferred. Mechanically minded. Flexible attitude. Professional presentation.
