The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] for a commercially minded Performance Marketing Executive to join our growing Digital Marketing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering our lead generation and acquisition strategy, with a strong focus on paid search, paid social and conversion optimisation. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and the wider marketing team, this role will play a key part in campaign execution, optimisation and performance reporting across our key digital channels. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working with data, key performance metrics and continuous optimisation to drive measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance & Paid Media (Primary Focus): Plan, build, manage and optimise PPC campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads to support lead generation and commercial objectives; manage and optimise paid social campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta and YouTube; continuously test and optimise ads, audiences and landing pages to improve CPL, CPA and conversion rates.
- Lead Generation & Funnel Optimisation: Support the development and optimisation of lead generation landing pages; analyse user behaviour and funnel performance; work closely with sales and internal stakeholders; support A/B testing initiatives.
- Website, SEO & Digital Projects Support: Support day‑to‑day website management, content updates, landing page creation; assist with SEO strategy and keyword research; work with internal teams and external agencies on website development; support the management and performance of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s UK and Ireland website.
- Social Media & Email Marketing Support: Support organic and paid social media activity; assist with content planning and performance evaluation; support email marketing campaigns (GDPR‑compliant).
- Data, Reporting & Budget Management: Own performance reporting for paid media against KPIs; contribute to monthly digital marketing reporting; support budget tracking and PO processing.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work with brand, content, design, web and sales teams; stay updated on digital marketing trends; share insights with the wider team.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Hands‑on experience managing PPC / paid media campaigns
- Strong analytical skills with experience using GA4 and Google Tag Manager
- Experience working with performance KPIs and using data to inform optimisation
- Confident working across multiple digital channels simultaneously
Desirable:
- Experience supporting SEO, website management, social media or email marketing
- B2B lead generation experience
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Umbraco
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams
