Salary: £32,240 - £36,400 per annum

The Role
You will play a key role in shaping the overall fundraising strategy of the organisation and driving forward new initiatives to ensure long term sustainability of donations. Leading an established team your initiative, creativity and management skills will ensure the success of the ambitious plans for fundraising. In addition to regional PR duties, you will be responsible for the daily oversight of the shop premises, including the management of staff and the efficient processing and handling of all incoming community donations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a regional fundraising and awareness budget, strategy and operational plan in line with the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] values, ethos and benchmark practices.
- Lead by example and develop the Regional Fundraising Team to raise funds for the poor and needy in accordance with the principles and ethos of the charity and to raise awareness of the plight of Ummah
- Be responsible for the collection, recording, banking, and security of physical and monetary donations arriving at the various points of collections in the region.
- Take initiatives to expand in new geographical areas in the region and to broaden the existing network of donor base including mosques, maktabs, schools, local councils, business sponsors, private and corporate donors, and community support groups, fundraisers, HNW donors and legacy funding.
- Monitor and report the progress on monthly and annual income and expenditure targets and corrective action planned to address the variance. Oversee the development and motivation of a pool of volunteers who can assist with different aspects of fundraising
- Oversee the adoption and maintenance of necessary systems to support fundraising in conjunction with the Finance and IT Teams
- Be the regional point of contact for the donors, community stakeholders, and volunteers and address their queries and issues in line with the charity policy.
- Organise and conduct feedback and awareness sessions for the donor organisations to enhance public trust and charity’s credibility.
- Oversee the operations and promotion of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] (Bolton) in consultation with the Director USL, including staff supervision and donor relations.
