Warehouse Operator - 9 month FTC
Location: Wellpark or Dixon Blazes, Glasgow | Contract: Fixed-term (until 31st December 2026) | Working Pattern: Full-time
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group plc is seeking a Warehouse Operator for its iconic Wellpark Brewery in Glasgow. This is a 9-month fixed term contract.
About the Role
Undertake daily/weekly/monthly activities to meet Warehouse Department KPI requirements for cost, quality, service and behaviours.
Key Accountabilities
- Comply with all Statutory & Legal requirements
- Comply with all Safety, Health & Environment requirements
- Comply with packaging or food hygiene safety regulations (e.g., HACCP)
- Comply with Product & Process Quality requirements
- Comply with Housekeeping, Cleaning & 5S requirements
- Comply with basic asset care requirements
- Operate Warehouse Equipment to deliver finished goods to logistics department
- Undertake improvement activities to meet KPI targets (SIC)
- Undertake training for new skills and tasks
- Perform any warehouse-related tasks as directed by First Line Manager
- Attend meetings and briefings as necessary
- Comply with documentation and transactions
- Ensure internal customer requirements are met
- Understand food safety requirements
- Accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring stock is complete and undamaged
About You
- English & Mathematics Standard Grades or equivalent
- Must have counter balance Forklift license
- Packaging or Engineering based qualification an advantage
- All operational training provided
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
- Picking experience desirable
