Transport Team Leader

What you'll be doing

  • Effectively plan the depot fleet through the company planning tools, maximising efficiency with minimum cost
  • Support the management team in ensuring compliance in all areas
  • Monitor and maintain housekeeping standards, identify and minimise workplace hazards
  • Proactive communication with drivers, mates, internal and external customers
  • Provide expert knowledge, leadership, motivation and address areas for improvement
  • Provide practical solutions to operational challenges and take ownership of problems
  • Create and maintain a positive, safe, and productive working environment
  • Continually review ways of improving operations, generating new ideas and implementing change

About you

  • Passionate, hands-on approach to providing premium service
  • Team player role model who leads by example, motivates, coaches, and develops team members
  • Proven experience with investigations in areas including accidents and disciplinaries
  • Able to manage targets and KPIs
