Job Description

Electrical Project Engineer – HV & Subsea Cable Projects

Full-time or Contract | Offshore Energy Sector

We are working with a growing offshore engineering organization that is expanding its project delivery team due to increased activity across HV and subsea cable projects.

They are looking to engage experienced Electrical Project Engineers to support the full lifecycle of offshore projects — from initial award through to execution, commissioning, and final handover.

Role Overview

This position sits within a structured project environment, with a strong emphasis on delivery, coordination, and technical documentation. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in line with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project documentation, including ITPs and RAMS
  • Prepare technical documentation and support testing procedures
  • Coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning activities
  • Interface with multidisciplinary teams across engineering and operations
  • Support QA processes and compile handover documentation packages

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are interested in candidates with experience in offshore electrical projects, particularly within:

  • Subsea power cable systems
  • Offshore wind developments
  • Oil & gas electrical infrastructure

Hands-on involvement in installation, commissioning, or offshore operations is highly desirable.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong control and management of engineering documentation
  • Ability to handle multiple workstreams in parallel
  • Confident communication across site teams and client stakeholders
  • High attention to detail with a focus on compliance, QA, and traceability

Additional Information

This role is based in Stockton-On-Tees and will require 3 days per week in office.

Additionally there will be some travel across Europe to the clients worksites.
