Salary: £47,925 - £51,228 per annum
Type: Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week)
The Vacancy
The Community Operations Manager will manage and support Communities and Neighbourhoods (CaN) service delivery by [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and its partners within area of responsibility. They will continue to ensure Community Centre services maintain a clear focus on the needs of Poplar residents and to ensure that this approach is co-ordinated with local providers including the local authority, the police and health authority. The postholder will have a strategic role in leading the sustainability of CaN’s network of community centres across Poplar.
Postholder Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for direct line management, development and training of multi-disciplined staff attached to specific centers.
- To motivate centre staff to ensure the delivery of excellent services.
- To establish and develop excellent working relationships with service partners and stakeholders across Poplar and beyond.
- To have overall management responsibility for the operational delivery of CaN outcomes and outputs based upon the current 5-year objectives.
- To ensure good financial management of designated centre budgets.
- To produce quarterly management reports for various committees and CEO’s KPIs.
- To participate in the evaluation and implementation of policies leading to a continuous programme of collaborative working with all partners – internal and external.
Due to the nature of this post, employment in this role is dependent on an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. In addition, you will also be checked against the Children’s Barred List.
