IT Housing and Financial Systems Manager

The Vacancy
Fixed Term - 9 Months, Full Time - 35 hours per week. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is an award-winning housing and regeneration organisation with a national reputation for innovative urban and social regeneration.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our ICT Team for a IT Housing and Financial Systems Manager. The IT Housing and Financial Systems Manager will lead and client manager to the Housing and Finance Directors, and Team. They will also be the strategic and operational lead for data reporting and quality, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, housing and financial IT systems projects, ensuring effective, on-time and on-budget delivery.
Post holder responsibilities:
- Critically assess and challenge service delivery methods to identify improvements and deliver efficiencies
- Design and deliver reports to aid operations
- IT systems lead for disaster recovery of housing/financial systems.
- IT systems lead for housing/finance systems application patching
- IT systems lead for housing/financial data loss investigation, recovery and reporting.
- Maintain a good knowledge of services, regulatory, statutory, best practice and legal precedent in order to respond positively and quickly to enquiries and complaints
Education / Skills:
- a. Degree or equivalent/comparable qualifications or experience
- b. Systems Accounting qualifications or comparable experience
- c. Engage in clear and constructive straight-talking
- d. Facilitate meetings, groups and forums
- e. Identify opportunities to improve
- f. Multi-task and prioritise
- g. Use ICT proficiently
- h. Use written/oral skills to influence, negotiate and persuade
- i. Work through issues to resolution
