Salary: £39,959 - £48,117 a year pro rata
Contract: Fixed term (9 months), Part-time (24 hours per week)

Job Summary
Are you a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor) looking for a career within Community Public Health Nursing in Plymouth? Main Duties of the Job
- Coordinate and deliver skilled, effective care to promote positive health and tackle disadvantage.
- Undertake community health needs profiling of the caseload.
- Work with vulnerable children, young people and families in line with national and local safeguarding policies.
- Work in partnership with health services, education, and social care.
- Manage and coordinate programmes of intervention for individual children and families.

Person Specification
Knowledge (Essential)
- Knowledge of current health issues relating to children and families.
- Knowledge of Children Act, Healthy Child Programme (0-19), Framework for Assessment, Child Protection policies.
- Evidence of research-based practice and continuing professional development.
Experience (Essential)
- Experience of working with children and families, including complex families.
- Experience with child protection concerns and multi-agency working.
Skills (Essential)
- Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Self-management, reliability, empathy, adaptability, diplomacy, leadership.
- Able to lead and line manage a team.
Qualifications (Essential)
- Specialist Community Public Health Nurse Certificate, Diploma or Degree.
- NMC Registration.
- Relevant post registration course.
