Procurement & Contract Manager (Transmission)
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Consulting Group is hiring a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement and contract management for major electric transmission projects.
Role & Responsibility
- Plan, implement, and execute procurement/tender strategies from start to finish.
- Draft and negotiate contracts for supply of components or construction and installation services.
- Provide guidance and advice to clients on commercial and contractual matters.
- Lead and coordinate commercial, technical, financial and legal expertise while ensuring compliance with client governance.
- Provide maximum value in terms of quality, price and schedule while managing risks.
- Lead the complete procurement process including RFIs, RFPs, tenders, evaluating proposals, and finalizing contracts.
- Ensure procurement process is executed according to client policies and documented transparently.
Business and Personnel Development
- Contribute to development of tools and procedures including the Contracts Management Practice Group.
- Host informal/formal training sessions.
- Work closely with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s growing team and client project teams.
- Collaborate with the global [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] organization (90+ persons worldwide).
Who Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a matrix organization.
- Experience within energy or construction industries.
- Experience leading procurement and tender processes.
- Ability to project manage processes and lead negotiations.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
- Structured and methodical working style.
