Immigration Expert

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an Immigration Expert to join their Expert Advice team. This is a part-time (21.75 hours/week), hybrid role based in England and Wales. Salary: £25,927 (plus London Allowance of £3,520 if applicable, pro-rata).

About the Role

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] offers confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. Through our national network of charities, we give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem.

We’re looking for an Immigration Expert to support our network of local offices to give good immigration advice and support colleagues in the national organisation such as policy and news. You’ll keep them abreast of changes and undertake tasks such as providing legal checks on our web content for advisers and the public, and helping to maintain our immigration learning materials. We want to dynamically develop and grow our immigration advice, particularly to families and EU citizens.

Key Requirements

  • Professional experience in a legal or advice setting
  • Ability to deliver advice to a range of audiences
  • Knowledge of immigration law and policy
  • Strong communication and training skills
