Job Description
The Immigration Team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] delivers specialist legal advice and casework including appeals and judicial review. The role involves handling complex EU Settlement Scheme cases, particularly for vulnerable EEA nationals, including Zambrano Carers and people with suitability issues. The postholder will also provide second-tier support on complex EUSS cases.
Requirements
- At least two years recent, professional experience of providing immigration casework in a legal or advice setting
- Law Society Immigration and Asylum Accreditation as a Senior or Advanced Caseworker
- Experience of working on a Legal Aid immigration contract
- If not a solicitor, must be regulated by OISC (Law Society accreditation exempts from OISC in asylum category but OISC assessment needed for immigration category)
