Salary: £12.85 per hour + £50 per Sleep-In Shift

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

About the Role

Make a meaningful career change: become a Female Support Worker in Worcester. You'll support four gentlemen with autism, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. They are full-time wheelchair users who enjoy football, music, gaming, cultural outings, and water activities. Your role is hands-on and heart-led, promoting independence and providing daily support with personal care, medication, meal preparation, and sharing activities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Promoting independence by encouraging choice and participation in everyday life
  • Providing daily support with personal care, medication, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean home
  • Sharing activities and hobbies, from football and gaming to cultural outings
  • Building relationships by understanding unique communication styles and creating trust

Shift Patterns

Rotas provided in advance. Day shifts: 8am–4pm, 9am–5pm, 1pm–9pm. Long day with Sleep-In: 3pm–2pm following day. Sleep-In: 11pm–7am.

Who We're Looking For

No previous care experience required. Ideal qualities: reliable, compassionate, positive, engaging, adaptable, calm, team-oriented. A full UK driving licence (manual) is required.
