Core Responsibilities

  • Safe Transportation & Logistics: Transporting food and equipment to clients, ensuring items are secured to prevent damage or spills.
  • Loading/Unloading: Handling delicate or heavy items, ensuring orders are loaded in an organized manner based on the delivery route.
  • Customer Service & Delivery: Delivering items to clients on time, interacting professionally, managing client expectations, and potentially setting up food displays.
  • Food Safety & Hygiene: Ensuring food is kept at appropriate temperatures (e.g., in hot or cold boxes) and maintaining a clean vehicle.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting daily vehicle inspections, reporting faults, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
  • Documentation & Accuracy: Recording, checking, and updating delivery logs, invoices, and ensuring order accuracy.
  • Navigation & Time Management: Planning efficient routes, using GPS, and managing time to meet strict delivery schedules.
