The Opportunity

At our [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] dealership, we are looking for a self-motivated and high energy Inside Sales Representative to help grow our local retail business. This role sits at the heart of our dealership, acting as the first point of contact for many prospects and playing a critical role in converting enquiries into genuine sales opportunities.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Selling the range of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] compact equipment to new customers and small fleet operators
  • Actively prospecting for potential customers and creating demand for the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] machine range
  • Responding quickly and professionally to inbound customer enquiries from our website, digital campaigns, and marketing activity
  • Proactively making outbound calls to progress opportunities and follow up open enquiries
  • Qualifying customer needs and identifying opportunities for equipment demonstrations or dealer visits
  • Booking appointments and handing qualified opportunities to the field sales team
  • Maintaining consistent follow up with customers to avoid missed opportunities
  • Accurately recording all activity, notes, and next actions within the dealer CRM
  • Supporting local digital activity including online listings, email outreach, and social platforms

Who You Are

  • Previous experience in sales, retail, automotive, call centre, telesales, or customer facing roles
  • Comfortable and confident speaking with customers by phone every day
  • Resilient and positive when outcomes don’t come immediately
  • Genuine interest in selling and developing a long term sales career
  • Construction or machinery knowledge is not essential
