Main Duties

• Holistically assess and clinically examine patients with minor and complex needs.

Job Responsibilities

Clinical Practice

• Assess and holistically clinically examine patients with both minor and complex needs.
• Plan, implement and evaluate management plans.
• Provide information on medication regimens, side-effects and interactions.
• Prioritise health problems and intervene in urgent/emergency situations.
• Refer and discharge safely with safety-netting advice.
• Triage telephone referrals and calls.

Communication

• Demonstrate sensitive communication styles.
• Communicate effectively with patients and carers.
• Anticipate barriers to communication.

Non-Medical Prescribing

Qualifications

• Registered health care professional with MSc Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
• V300 Non-Medical Prescriber.
