DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to build and operate the platform, infrastructure, and tooling that enables fast, reliable software delivery. This role focuses on CI/CD, infrastructure automation, developer productivity, and production reliability.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Manage cloud environments (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker)
• Manage and maintain supporting infrastructure, including PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Kafka
• Improve deployment, release, and rollback processes
• Ensure environment consistency across staging and production
• Maintain and improve internal developer tooling and platforms
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and respond to alerts
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve delivery speed, reliability, and developer experience

What You’ll Need to Have (required qualifications)

• 3–5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Experience with one or more programming languages: TypeScript, Python, Go, or Rust
• Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD systems
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar)
• Hands-on software development experience as a Backend, Frontend, or Fullstack Engineer, or evidence of meaningful personal/side projects demonstrating software engineering and system design thinking
• Ability to think like a developer and understand real-world engineering pain points through practical experience, not just infrastructure ownership

Nice to Have

• Experience building internal tools (CLI tools, automation services, developer platforms)
• Experience with Platform Engineering or Internal Developer Platforms
• Experience with security, secrets management, and access controls
• Experience operating distributed systems and message brokers at scale
