Product Manager – Travel Industry

Leading UK travel group - Hybrid/Remote - Full Time - Permanent

Role and Responsibilities

  • Create a diverse product range from initial concept through to launch and delivery.
  • Pinpoint emerging trends and unmet demand, generating new product ideas that accelerate passenger growth and strengthen market position.
  • Create and manage product plans, ensuring sufficient stock and capacity to achieve budgeted passenger volumes.
  • Ensure all products are contracted and ready in line with launch schedules.
  • Negotiate and contract hotels and itineraries at competitive rates, securing added value where possible to maintain strong price positioning.
  • Work with copywriters to agree final tour copy for online and brochure publication.
  • Own the product life cycle end to end, collaborating with colleagues to ensure accuracy, quality, and seamless delivery.
  • Attend trade events and actively network to promote the brands and source new product opportunities and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure the right space at the right price.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Product or Contract Manager within the travel industry, ideally with UK and European contracting experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and drive product performance.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop unique and appealing itineraries.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive, solutions focused, and comfortable challenging assumptions to drive improvement.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ownership of end to end delivery.
