About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you’ll be working with clients across your local community, providing a wide range of support, which may include:
- Assisting with personal care, such as washing, dressing, and bathing
- Supporting with medication prompts and administration
- Offering companionship—sharing conversation, hobbies, and daily routines
- Preparing meals and supporting nutritional needs
- Carrying out light housekeeping and home safety checks
- Assisting with mobility, including helping clients in and out of bed
- Supporting clients to attend appointments or social outings

What We Offer You
- Competitive Pay: From £14.50/hour weekdays, and £15.75/hour weekends
- Bank Holiday Enhancements: 1.5x standard pay rate
- Paid Travel Time: We pay for the time spent travelling between clients
- Mileage Reimbursement: 35p per mile
- Paid Induction & Shadowing: Including three days of paid training and supported introductory shifts

Training & Development

- Three Days of In-Person, Classroom-Based Training: Medication Training, Basic Life Support, Manual Handling, and key care skills
- Shadowing Shifts: Supervised visits with experienced CareGivers
- E-Learning Platform: Covers dementia awareness, fire safety, health and safety, infection prevention, safeguarding, food hygiene, mental capacity, and more
- Fully Funded NVQ Qualifications: After 12 months, opportunity to complete funded NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion to support and care for others
- A positive, professional, and flexible attitude
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Availability to work alternate weekends
- The legal right to work in the UK
No previous care experience is required. We provide all the training and mentoring you need.
