Part Time Care Assistant (Melksham)

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you’ll be working with clients across your local community, providing a wide range of support, which may include:

  • Assisting with personal care, such as washing, dressing, and bathing
  • Supporting with medication prompts and administration
  • Offering companionship—sharing conversation, hobbies, and daily routines
  • Preparing meals and supporting nutritional needs
  • Carrying out light housekeeping and home safety checks
  • Assisting with mobility, including helping clients in and out of bed
  • Supporting clients to attend appointments or social outings

Training & Development

Your journey begins with three days of in-person classroom-based training covering medication, basic life support, manual handling, and key care skills. Following that, you’ll complete supervised shadowing visits and gain access to an e-learning platform. After 12 months, we offer fully funded NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.
