Job Description

In this role as Financial Management Accountant, you will ensure the timely and accurate provision of accounting entries and supporting analysis to the Finance Manager. The individual in this role will need to show a keenness and aptitude for getting things right, first time, and be committed to ensuring that the Finance function is professional and well respected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Finance Manager with month end P&L reporting and analysis
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reviews and reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the balance sheet is maintained.
  • Own the Intercompany Reconciliation process to ensure we tie with all other [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] entities across Europe. Including allocations of some expenses across the wider business.
  • Own the credit card “Statement to P&L” process for expenditure items.
  • Own the credit card “Receipt to Revenue” process for incoming payments across the Irish entities.
  • Prepare Monthly Group Reporting packages for submission on a tight deadline, ensuring accuracy, completeness and understanding.
  • Prepare and submit responses to Government Surveys
  • Assist in update process for Vendor & Customer Master Data
  • Participate and deliver ad hoc projects, when necessary

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • Part Qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or with a desire to pursue this pathway.
  • Ability to demonstrate meeting tight deadlines in a Group environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail when working under pressure.
  • Experience working in a busy office environment.
