Mobile Maintenance Service Electrician covering Watford, Luton, North London & Central London.

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced electrician who can work within well-known commercial environments, carrying out all areas of electrical installation, compliance, maintenance, and remedial tasks. Fire alarm service and maintenance works are required for this position. This is a full time and permanent opportunity, working on a mobile basis on sites across the region. Fire alarm training is provided within our onsite training centre to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritise workload received to ensure works completed within allotted time limits.
  • Undertake electrical works including portable appliance testing, electrical installation testing, lighting, fire alarm, nurse call and emergency lighting maintenance, reactive and remedial works.
  • Ensure works are undertaken efficiently in line with customer SLAs, effecting first time fix wherever possible.
  • Submit quotations or material requests for further remedial works.
  • Update site logbooks to maintain compliance records.

Skills & Experience

  • Formal Electrical Qualification such as Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulation
  • Good understanding of statutory compliance
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Experience with building management systems

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in working at corporate locations
  • Experience working with fire alarms
