Hours – Monday – Friday, 08:30 to 17:00

Role Overview

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Tax & Reporting Manager to lead our tax strategy, compliance, and financial reporting across the Northern Europe region. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for governance, audit oversight, and strategic tax optimisation, working closely with the Group CFO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all direct and indirect tax compliance across multiple UK and European entities
  • Drive tax strategy, risk management, and optimisation (including transfer pricing and group relief)
  • Oversee statutory accounts, consolidated tax reporting, and submissions to Group HQ
  • Manage internal and external audits and relationships with tax authorities and advisors
  • Provide technical tax and accounting guidance to regional finance teams
  • Lead tax training and compliance programmes across the business
  • Monitor legislative changes and advise senior leadership on business impact
  • Champion continuous improvement in tax systems, processes, and controls
  • Support business projects with tax risk assessments and compliance reviews

Ideal Candidate

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience in senior tax leadership within a complex, multi entity environment
  • Expert knowledge of UK tax, IFRS, UK GAAP, and cross border taxation
  • Proven experience in tax compliance, audit management, and strategic tax planning
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience delivering tax training and developing high performing finance teams
  • Background in facilities management, engineering, or a related service led sector would be desirable
  • Experience with finance systems implementation and transformation
