SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to join our Legal team and lead our response efforts to customer RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires. This role is critical in showcasing our cybersecurity capabilities, compliance posture, and contractual commitments to prospective and existing enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with the ability to translate complex legal, technical, and security concepts into compelling, customer-focused proposals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Proposal Management & Coordination: Own end-to-end RFP response process, maintain calendar, conduct go/no-go analysis, develop templates, coordinate with Sales, Legal, Product, Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams.
• Content Development & Quality Assurance: Write, edit, refine proposal content, translate technical cybersecurity and legal terms, ensure consistency, review security questionnaires and NDAs.
• Legal & Compliance Focus: Partner with Legal team, ensure accurate representation of contractual terms, maintain knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, coordinate security assessments.
• Process Improvement & Knowledge Management: Improve RFP processes, maintain knowledge base, conduct win/loss analysis, train team members, track metrics.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Experience: 5+ years in proposal management (B2B SaaS, tech, cybersecurity preferred), proven track record managing complex RFP responses, experience with legal departments.
• Skills & Knowledge: Exceptional communication, project management, understanding of cybersecurity concepts and compliance frameworks, proficiency with RFPIO/Loopio and Salesforce, advanced MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Business, Law, Communications preferred; APMP certification a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cybersecurity or enterprise software experience, knowledge of SOC2/ISO27001/FedRAMP/NIST, understanding of SaaS metrics, legal contract terminology, public sector procurement, technical writing.
