FULL DESCRIPTION

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is seeking a Part-time Veterinary Surgeon for their Putney, London practice. The role offers a 2-day week (Thursdays and Fridays) with a 1:3 Saturday and 1:10 Sunday rotation, no on-call. Salary range £26,100–£52,200 (FTE £45,000–£90,000).

About the Role

Our [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group Putney practice has a true London ‘village’ atmosphere, just a short walk from the River Thames, Putney High Street, and Putney Station. The rota for this sole charge 2-day week position is Thursdays and Fridays. Your rota is inclusive of a 1:3 branch Saturday and 1:10 hospital Sunday rotation, plus 1 bank holiday per year. There are NO on-call requirements.

Our Putney team currently includes 1 associate vet and a fantastic clinical support team passionate about building strong bonds with their established client base and providing exemplary patient care. We are also recruiting for a senior RVN – a potential package deal with refer-a-friend bonus.

Key Duties

  • Carry out consultations, thoroughly examining pets and making evidence-based management and treatment recommendations in accordance with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] protocols
  • Perform surgery on cases within personal competence and limitation of overnight care
  • Maintain, prescribe and dispense medications in accordance with current medicines legislation and RCVS guidance
  • Record accurate clinical notes and ensure patient histories are comprehensive
  • Refer cases in a timely manner to a [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Hospital when necessary
  • Maintain a respectful and collaborative team environment
  • Work alongside the senior RVN to schedule branch meetings and action SOPs
  • Oversee consulting and surgical/diagnostic diary in compliance with company policies

Benefits & Salary

The salary band for this part-time role inclusive of weekend rotation is £26,100 to £52,200 (FTE £45,000 to £90,000 based on a 40-hour week) dependent on experience. Benefits include:
