Junior Electrical Building Services Engineer

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for a motivated Junior Electrical Building Services Engineer to join their Worcester (Midlands) team.

Skills/Experience

  • An interest in electrical building services engineering or general engineering within the built environment
  • A good standard of IT skills (specialist training will be provided where required)
  • Good organisational skills and a strong willingness to learn
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage your time effectively
  • A relevant degree (or working towards one) in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline (desirable but not essential depending on experience level)

Previous placement experience, internships, or exposure to consultancy/project environments would be advantageous but not essential.

The Role

The successful candidate will work as part of the wider electrical design team, supporting the delivery of projects across a range of sectors within the built environment.

  • Assisting with the preparation of electrical building services designs and calculations
  • Supporting project engineers through various RIBA work stages
  • Producing and updating drawings and technical documentation
  • Coordinating with other disciplines within the design team
  • Attending meetings with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders where appropriate
  • Supporting site visits and commissioning activities as your experience develops

You will gain exposure to projects across sectors including leisure, healthcare, industrial, residential, education, and commercial, with opportunities to grow your technical and professional capabilities.
