Project Manager

The role involves managing all phases of the construction lifecycle, coordinating teams, monitoring schedules and costs, ensuring health & safety compliance, and liaising with clients and commercial teams. Requires 5+ years experience in industrial/commercial construction, relevant qualifications, and certifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of the construction project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Monitor project schedules, cost control, and progress reports.
  • Chair site and client meetings; manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Oversee health & safety compliance and risk management on site.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications, drawings, and contracts.
  • Liaise closely with the commercial team on procurement and variations.

Requirements

  • Proven track record managing industrial/commercial construction projects (ideally £5M+).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK construction regulations and CDM.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree).
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White Card), and First Aid certifications.

Desirable

  • Experience delivering steel-frame industrial units.
  • Previous work with logistics or manufacturing sector clients.
