Teacher of Maths
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Teacher of Maths to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills Maths. Salary up to £36,585.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate good understanding of teaching strategies to provide opportunities for all learners.
- Inspire and engage students through well-planned lessons.
- Differentiate lessons for individual needs.
- Encourage student independence and perseverance.
- Promote equality and inclusion.
- Monitor and intervene to ensure effective learning.
- Carry out preparation, assessment, and record-keeping.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in related subject or industry-recognised standard.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, DET, or equivalent).
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Qualification one level above teaching level.
- English and maths at Level 2 or willingness to achieve.
- Experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths.
- Proven track record of successful teaching and curriculum design.
- Ability to deliver KPIs and improve student experience.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Satisfactory DBS clearance.
