Job Purpose
Are you a practical, hands-on professional who takes pride in keeping buildings safe, compliant and well maintained? We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Officer to help ensure our sites remain welcoming, functional and safe for everyone who uses them. This varied role combines day-to-day reactive repairs with planned maintenance, safety checks and contractor coordination, offering the opportunity to make a visible, positive impact through your skills every single day.
Key Responsibilities
- Regular maintenance and upkeep jobs
- Small scale emergency repairs
- Legal compliance checks
- Facilitating specialist contractor works
- Administration, using basic IT digital recording systems, Outlook Emails
Who We’re Looking For
- Relevant trade qualifications or experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of health and safety practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive approach to site maintenance and compliance
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
