Job Purpose
The Volunteer Development Officer will coordinate and deliver a high-quality, inclusive volunteering programme that enables people to engage, grow and progress. This includes recruiting and supporting volunteers, creating clear development pathways, and embedding volunteer voice through forums and leadership opportunities. You will work closely with partners and the wider team to widen participation, support community engagement, and ensure volunteering is central to the Green Patch offer. Alongside delivery, you will monitor progress, capture impact, and contribute to a collaborative, values-driven team culture. An interest in gardening or green spaces will support your ability to connect people with the environment and maximise the unique opportunities the site offers.
