Hydraulic Mechanic

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are looking for a suitable candidate to join there fast growing and dynamic business. The successful candidate will perform a vital role in the growth of a motivated close-knit team.
Role: The successful candidates’ role will be to perform maintenance duties on a wide variety of equipment at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s Drumoak base. On a day-to-day basis the role will be maintaining a range of Hydraulic equipment, engines, rotating equipment, and Pumps. The right person must be self-motivated and enjoy working on such equipment.
- Servicing and general maintenance of equipment
- Overhaul of equipment
- Assembly of new build equipment
- Working with the maintenance management system
- Lead and work with trainee/apprentices
- Perform occasional site visits (onshore/offshore) for breakdowns or as required.
This would suit a candidate with the following qualities:
- Experience of hydraulics essential
- Hands on approach with a can-do attitude
- High level of attention to detail
- Takes pride in their work.
- Self-motivated, driven and determined.
- Prior experience of drilling maintenance and equipment (Pumps, rotaries, hydraulic powerpacks, etc)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience Previous experience in a similar role is essential. The following or equivalent courses are desirable.
- Hydraulics Level 1 & 2
- Hydraulic Hose Assembly Course
