Job Description
Make a real difference every day. We are a supported living house based in Cranleigh, part of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. Our tenants have a range of needs, including autistic spectrum disorders, learning difficulties and language and communication challenges. We’re looking for caring, compassionate people to join our friendly team. This position is to support a female resident and so due to our ratios for staff – we are looking for a female Supported Living Worker to join us. No previous experience is required - just empathy, resilience and a positive attitude. We’ll give you a full induction, specialist training and ongoing support so you feel confident from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Help tenants with all aspects of daily life - cooking, cleaning, shopping
- Support accessing the community, attending college, or enjoying trips out
- Support tenants in their leisure time
- Provide emotional support when tenants feel anxious or frustrated
- May require driving tenants using own vehicle or company vehicle
Requirements
- Empathy, resilience and a positive attitude
- Driving licence and access to transport (highly desirable due to semi-rural location)
- Physical, emotional and mental resilience
- No previous experience required - full training provided
