What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with meal preparation under supervision.
• Clean kitchen equipment, floors, surfaces, drainage systems, cupboards and storage areas.
• Carry out kitchen and dining room activities such as laying tables and clearing away.
• Take proper care of equipment and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
• Use hygienic and appropriate waste disposal systems.
• Use powered equipment after training, including dishwasher, and undertake manual handling tasks.
• Maintain a professional and hygienic appearance.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience of working within a kitchen setting
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, caring approach, reliability, ability to manage own time, honesty, respect for confidentiality, clean and tidy appearance, ability to communicate clearly, approachable
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
• A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for people
• Able to work alternate weekends
• Hours available: 17.5 hours per week
