What You'll Be Doing

• Assist with meal preparation under supervision.
• Clean kitchen equipment, floors, surfaces, drainage systems, cupboards and storage areas.
• Carry out kitchen and dining room activities such as laying tables and clearing away.
• Take proper care of all equipment and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
• Use hygienic waste disposal systems.
• Use powered equipment following training (e.g. dishwasher) and undertake manual handling tasks.
• Maintain a professional and hygienic appearance.

What We're Looking For

• Experience of working within a kitchen setting.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, caring approach, reliability, time management, honesty, confidentiality, clean appearance, clear communication, approachable.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
• Positive, can-do attitude and genuine passion for people.
• Able to work alternate weekends.
• Hours available: 2 x 22.75 hours per week.
