Job Details

Location: Cary Brook, Castle Cary. Role type: Residential Care. Hours: 27 per week.

What You'll Be Doing

• Clean various areas of the home including Service Users' bedrooms, involving Service Users where possible.
• Work within the kitchen area: clean equipment, floors, surfaces, cupboards, and storage areas daily.
• Undertake basic food and beverage preparation, e.g. preparing light snacks.
• Carry out dining room activities: laying tables and clearing away.
• Assist with personal care and manual handling duties as required.
• Access and update confidential records using a computer; use technology to support Customers (Skype, YouTube, Internet).
• Observe Service Users' well-being and report any problems immediately to a senior member of staff.

• Able to work alternate weekends.
