What You'll Be Doing

• Provide nutritionally balanced, attractive and well-presented meals; including meeting special dietary needs where necessary
• Work with Company menus within limitations of your budget
• Carry out practical duties in relation to meal preparation using powered equipment where appropriate and undertake duties which involve manual handling of loads
• Be responsible for ordering adequate provisions, their storage and rotation
• Organise the smooth running of your kitchen by working with, and delegating appropriate tasks to your catering team
• Maintain appropriate records to comply with HACCP, Company standards and legislation
• Consult with customers to ensure that individuals are offered choice and that individual needs are met

What We're Looking For

• Experience of working within a catering setting as a Chef or Cook
• Level 2 QCF qualification in catering
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
• A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for people
• Able to work alternate weekends
• Hours available (per week): 19.5 hours
• Shift pattern: Week 1: Tuesday 08:00-15:00, Friday 08:00-15:00; Week 2: Tuesday 08:00-15:00, Friday 08:00-15:00, Saturday 08:00-15:00, Sunday 08:00-15:00
